Like the vinyl iron-on transfers, iron-on patch and velcro patch are also used to decorate your own clothing in easy and fast way.
Iron-on patch is used to heat transfer on fabric with an iron or heat press machine for its glue backing, or sewn on fabric;
Velcro patch, also called tactical patch or morale patch, allows patch easily attach to something for its loop and hook backing;
Velcro patch is easily peeled off and replaced with new ones, while iron-on patch doesn't come off easily once you iron or sew it on fabric
They both are embroidery patches to decorate your fabric easily, just with differrent backings.
Application at a glance:
For iron-on patch:
Step 1: Position on fabric;
Step 2: Cover with a piece of cloth;
Step 3: Heat press with a iron (highest temp. for 3 minutes ) or heat press machine (temp. 165C for 30s)
Step 4: Remove fabric, all is done
For velcro patch:
Just peel off loop on the back, and attach it to an item (with a loop accessory) you want to decorate.
